I'm still seeing the same problem: clicking the icon saying that updated packages
are available causes a window to turn up in the task bar for a split second
before disappearing; .xsession-errors says "Could not find 'kdesu' executable."

This is with up-to-date intrepid with kubuntu-desktop installed.

$ adept_notifier -version
Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.10
Adept Notifier: 2.1 Cruiser
$ kdesudo -version
Qt: 4.4.1
KDE: 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1)
KdeSudo: 3.1

This is on x86-64.
