I suggested it to be enabled through some setting, because that way you can disable the auto-expanding if you don't like it when it goes along with auto-collapsing.

Afterwards the setting can be left there as more possibilities for customization is always nice :)

PS. I'd also like the auto-collapsing as a separate setting.
