Unfortunately, nether has worked for me - Ubuntu 11.10, 64Bit (server edition) -

removed frei0r-plugins -> error message
echo ...> kdenliverc -> error message
Copy old version of kdenliverc into .kde/share... (including echo... >> kdnliverc..) -> error message...

Any other thoughts....?
