I can comfirm this issue.
It crashes every time after I add a random .dv file and try to save the project.
I purged every config file and tried to make a clean package reinstall, but it didn't help.

version: 0.7.2.1-0ubuntu2
platform: ubuntu-jaunty (beta)
compiz is turned off
