Subject: kdvi does not display EPS figures

Package: kdvi
Version: 4:3.4.0-0ubuntu2
Severity: important

*** Please type your report below this line ***

The space for EPS figures in the DVI file just remains blank. On the =
command line kdiv gives the following error
message for each figure it tries to display:
"kdvi (kdegraphics): ERROR: GS did not produce output."
Ghostscript v7.07.1, however, is installed. Xdvi manages to display the =
file including the figures with no
problem.

This is Ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog.
