kdeconnect is automatically installed in Debian KDE (using kde-plasma-desktop package) and kdeconnectd opens a listening port 1716 for discovering devices, but sometimes I don't want that service to be running and also don't want the port to be open and only want the service be running when I explicitly start the service, but it looks like kdeconnectd is not like other normal service which can be enabled/started/disabled/stopped using systemctl command or similar way. So to disable/stop the service I have to remove kdeconnect package or use the other workarounds mentioned here. Also i don't want to use ufw or any other firewall to disable the port, I want to be able to control the services running on my PC as any other standard service or at least a way to disable it in the System Settings like for KDE Wallet, Firewall, etc.). It is NOT an essential service and should not be hidden in autostart list (It feels very shady). For the essential services, there should be a way to still view list of essential services (with a warning and a short description of the essential service) and modify them after authenticating using a polkit (Should I report this as a feature request in system settings?). If possible, please change the priority/importance of this bug as many people want this option.

Not just me, many others trying to find the same option
