Actually, I am running Kubuntu 6.10 now and I prefer that version, since I can now sync my Palm Pilot.
The zip drive problem still exists, but it is a little different on Kubuntu 6.10. On 6.06, I had an icon on my desktop for the zip drive but I couldn't use it. On 6.10, I don't see an icon on my desktop at all. I'll attach the 6.10 logs momentarily. I'd prefer fixing 6.10 first, since that's what I'm using. Thanks!
