Oh well, this might have something to do with samba. On having similar problems while saving a file with kwrite, console output is:

QProcess: Destroyed while process is still running.
kwrite(4560) KSambaSharePrivate::getNetUserShareInfo: We got some errors while running 'net usershare info'
