So, I've typed a long comment. Launchpad ate it. Here are the important things:
 - not reproducible on Lucid (KDE 4.4.1)
 - are you using the button in the configure dialog?
 - take a look at ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/konq_history* - try moving it away (with konqueror being closed). Is the history cleared when restarting konqueror?
 - if it's cleared by moving the files away: does clicking the button still cause a crash?
 - if so, install kdebase-dbg, which should result in a better backtrace.
