I tried what you suggested and it let me login to admin mode in everything
but still i couldn't change the network setting from disabled to enable
i did this and it worked fine
ifconfig eth0 "ipaddress" up
route add default "ipaddress"
(In reply to comment #56) kdecache- username directory seems to solve the problem. kdecache- *' at the beginning of kdm/Xstartup and it works.
