Bug Description
Binary package hint: konqueror
Hi,
In Edgy konqueror worked great! After last upgrade to Feisty it suddenly stoped - I mean I can't no longer use konqueror to browse http/https sites.
I can't browse www sites working as regular user - non root, but when I try to run konqueror from sudo it works!!!!!
So I thought that maybe my settings are somehow broken and added completely new user - result was the same - www doesn't work! Maybe it not konqueror error itself because every application that use http protocol seems to doesn't work - amarok during raido list fetching, agregator etc....
When I run konqueror I always get the same info:
{these are translated from Polish so can not be accurate}
There was an error during loading http://
Can't connect with server http://
I konsole when I run konqueror I get:ASSERT: "!icon.isEmpty()" in /build/
This text doesn't appear in sudo environment.
I don't want to install my system again from scratch - but need to find the reason why http doesn't work.
Can you please help me?
Kind regards,
Marcin Giedz

This was not an upgrade but a fresh install of kubuntu 7.04 DVD edition.
