Comment 40 for bug 253709

Do I see flip-resize? If yes -- it still creates unsolvable cases. Example -- you have plasmoid 100x100 pixels 10 pixels above the bottom edge of the screen. You would like to have 100x110 pixels plasmoid at the bottom of the screen.

Of course it is all caused by reinventing the wheel and pretending plasmoids cannot be resized the way windows are (not you). Because let's face it -- windows behaviour was not conceived as some kind of who-needs-it theory, its purpose was exactly this -- easy resizing.

So we can come up with behaviour A, B, C...Z and we still won't beat simple geometrical resizing.
