Unless there has been some change in the release policy that I'm unaware of, un-seeded packages are explicitly allowed to make uploads of bug fix releases without needing prior approval from the release team.

I've just uploaded this version to Debian. We can sync it over once the upload is processed. I would have done this earlier, but it seems that Debian's package tracking system doesn't automatically notify maintainers of new upstream releases for packages in experimental, only unstable, so I hadn't noticed this yet.
