Bug Description
This bug could be related to https:/
As in that report seems to be forgotten, I open a brand new one
These are the tests performed (at least twice for each case):
1. Writing an ISO image WORKS (the program says it used wodim)
2. Writing data file (1 file for 1.4GB) DOESN'T WORK (log attached later)
In the mentioned older bug there is some hint about "using cdrecord instead of wodim". This doesn't make any sense as wodim gets installed along with K3b and, moreover, there's no way to install the real cdrecord tool as of 11.04.
So, please, provide at least a workaround and possibly fix this stupid annoying bug.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
Package: k3b 2.0.2-0ubuntu1
ProcVersionSign
Uname: Linux 2.6.38-
Architecture: i386

InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1)
ProcEnviron:

LC_COLLATE=C
PATH=(custom, user)
LANG=it_IT.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: k3b
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Of course, if you choose to create an ISO image before burning the medium, it will work.
I also chose the "DAO" mode for writing but am not sure whether this is relevant or not.
So finally, this is the simple workaround.
