Hi,

forget my first question whether the burn run ended successfully.

I just found
  https://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=107723
which looks very good. Effective speed around 2x with Defect Management
enabled indicates a good relation between drive and medium

So there only remains the question whether the BD-R yields the
same blocks as written (plus some trailing garbage which we keep
dd from reading by the "count=" option).
This will be answered by the run of
  dd if=/dev/sr0 count=11223478 bs=2048 | sha512sum
