I meant that the Maven that is currently in Karmic (2.0.9) does is completely broken (does not work at all with the synced version of libplexus). In this case Maven must be synced with libplexus in order for Maven to work. Since libplexus has already been synced, syncing the Maven package is no longer optional (unless having a Maven package in Karmic that doesn't work is considered acceptable). Therefore this can't be considered a wishlist item on Karmic.
