I have the same problem with Ubuntu 9.04 and my HP 9000 Broadcom 4311 wireless. This only started happening with the upgrade to 2.6.28-15. If I boot into 2.6.28.14 the STA driver appears in Jockey and it works as it should. But not in 2.6.218-15. This appears to be some change in the build. Could a developer check the changes made between the 2 versions and let us know what they might be to get us on track for a fix?
