Bug Description
I am a doctor and heavily use jabref for referencing.
However since the last updates it has stopped working.
When i type search terms in websearch field, choosing medline, for example pain, i expect it to return lots of article. However jabref returns 0 articles....It does the same with all the other search engines. However when I search the medline intrephase, ie pubmed for term Pain, i get thousnds returns...therefore the search term is broken. pls look into it.

If I'm not mistaken, you reported the same issue with an older version of JabRef 1.5 years ago:
https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ jabref/ +bug/1449414
Is the solution that you came up with in the old bug report (open a database before searching) not working anymore?
Cheers,
