It fails at the "Locate ISO in hard drive" step. I have the edgy 6.10 iso in root directory where the kernel image is and also a copy of the iso in an ext3 partition.
However, when I replace the kernel image(vmlinuz) with that of breezy, it detects the iso. (Of course the install didn't proceed because of mis-matching kernels)

I tried to do a hard disk iso install using the images here: archive. ubuntu. com/ubuntu/ dists/edgy/ main/installer- i386/current/ images/ hd-media/
