It was working fine for a few minutes. I opened Firefox, played some Hulu, opened Android Studio, connected my tablet, and all was well. When I tried to allow USB debugging on the tablet, the system locked up.
I had been using 4.13.0-37 prior to trying the new microcode again, so I'll revert the microcode and try the same sequence of events with the newer kernel.
