@Pdaoust - have you committed a patch or was your intention to give your report a higher priority by assigning it to a target milestone? If it is the later please undo your recent change and use 'Nominate for release' (select 0.48). AFAIU linking to a specific branch only makes sense if the branch contains a fix or an implementation for your issue. If you committed a patch please disregard this comment.
