Also with the very latest (Inkscape 0.92+devel trunk-90-g42bf908b41 2017-07-06) from a few minutes ago (Take care, they changed some dependencies: I needed to install libsoup2.4-dev, remove the whole build folder and run cmake again, so that it finally compiled)

Could you try to tracking this down further, by finding out which commit broke it (git bisect), and additionally by getting a backtrace at where it gets stuck?
