Dutch, I don't think you're seeing the same problem. With my problem, I never saw a "kernel panic" message. I suggest you file a separate bug. (By the way, what is "Adept"?)

Marc Grosse, I'm confused as to exactly what your problem is, but it sounds to me like you may have two separate problems, neither of which sounds like it's related to this bug.
