Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

Kernel image argument /boot/vmlinuz-5.15.0-41-generic not a file
run-parts: /etc/initramfs/post-update.d//zz-systemd-boot exited with return code 1
run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/initramfs-tools exited with return code 1
