Imho it's better to open a separate bug. Extending this one doesn't make sense, since the problem may lay in another package and therefore will need another responsible person to take care of.
Anyway, I experience the same thing as you and @Kyle Boone (kyboone) ([drm:gen8_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* The master control interrupt lied (SDE)!)
