After last Lubuntu update it became dependent of indicator-sound-gtk2, but when installed it brings some strange packages for LXDE.
Having Lubuntu 16.04 LTS clean installed, perform a dist-upgrade, you could apt-mark hold lubuntu-default-settings before to see the exact problem.
It was prior filed here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-meta/+bug/1710993/comments/30
As you can see performing apt-cache depends indicator-sound it recommends unity-control-center, gnome-control-center or ubuntu-system-settings which hurt Lubuntu motto.
As apt-get install recommended package, please, change these packages to Suggests or add lubuntu-default-settings as a alternative to these packages. |
