Sorry, I just saw this. It should read:

"mouse power management should NOT take priority over OS power management"

And I'm leaving the word NOT in all caps. I find this to be one of the most frustrating laptop bugs ever, other than broken keys and poor touchpads. I could care less about mouse power--unless your mouse lights up like a xmas tree, that battery will last 2 years.

My laptop battery, on the other hand, runs out several times a day with heavy use.
