The indicator-applet-session recently was updated for new icons to graphically show what the global IM status is set to. While the icons are present in the /usr/share/icons/Humanity/status/16 folder, but only Available and Away have correct icon changes. I have tested this on a Virtualbox Karmic and an external hard drive Karmic, both up to date fully.
