Displaying even when there is only one layout to choose from

Indicator keyboard

Bug Description

I just noticed this on both of my machines. One is running g-s-d 3.8 but the other is not so it's probably not that, but this doesn't seem obviously correlated to an i-k change either...

I only have one layout available, yet indicator-keyboard is still displaying when it shouldn't be.

I also notice the icon does not change if I change the layout, is that another (new) bug?

Oops, now it seems to work.

Found this via http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2013/10/turn-new-keyboard-applet-ubuntu-13-10
and wanted to say "sudo apt-get purge indicator-keyboard" was a perfectly fine workaround for me.
Running xmonad with the gnome on 13.10.
