indicator icon doesn't change with different keyboard layout selected

After selecting a different keyboard layout (DE) the indicator still shows "En". The keyboard layout is applied though.

Deselecting and selecting again the option "Show current input source in the menu bar" under "Text Entry Settings", corrects this problem and the icon represents the layout (as described in Bug #1231875)

Deselecting and selecting again the option "Show current input source in the menu bar" under "Text Entry Settings" doesn't solve the problem for me.

Updated to proposed, cannot reproduce it now, seems that it was fixed.

Occured again. I tried to click indicator to see what layout is active in menu, but no menu appeared. Seems that it was hanged.

Also, sometimes huge delay occurs before indicator changes its appearance (#1245798), maybe it is just slow or hangs for some time.

just upgraded to 13.10 and have the same problem.
I use gnome-flashback.
And there is no "Text Entry Settings" in my case at all...
