This is reproducible on 16.04, 17.04 & 17.10
For 16.04 there was a patch which fixes the issue for me (https://launchpadlibrarian.net/206123315/upcoming-after-end.patch) but since then indicator-datetime code changed significantly and the patch is not valid anymore.
What is the output of 'locale' specifically LC_TIME ?
