My net-book:
Acer Aspire one
Processor Atom 1.60 GHz
Ram 1 GB
150 GB hardisk
OS Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick) Gnome 3.32.0

To be more precise about the bug:
If I disconnect the net-book from the main electrical supply the Icon keeps
showing that the machine is fully charged. However if I restart without
reconnecting the cable the icon shows correctly that the netbook is working
on battery charge. I hope this will help you a bit more.
