Bug Description

Since the update to 16.10 (and a change from unity to metacity), the memory usage of indicator-applet-complete increases over time (I have seen up to 4GB!).
I am not sure if it is connected or if I should file a separate report: The display of the applet is not constant, i.e. sometimes it flickers and it looks like one of the icons is not there for a split second making the icons on the left move to to right for this short period.
