Thomas, why do you merge this bug if you have not received confirmation of
it being fixed with the workaround above?

You should wait for the submitter's answer before merging, and, actually,
these bugs should now be reassigned to netbase since the workaround should
be added there (along with a dependency on newer ifupdown version). In any
case, I'm removing the 'fixed' and 'fixed in experimental' tag since they
are not being used correctly.
