Comment 57 for bug 497299

I have an upstart problem which might be the same as or related to this one, on an Averatech 3280 laptop, running Lucid. This is described as Bug #508456. However it does seem to be related to the openchrome and viafb drivers.

The boot process often hangs up while the display driver is starting up, but I can boot into recovery text mode and start ssh and display drivers manually, which works reliably.
