This is because the 16x16 icon for gtk-about has no padding. Attached is a resized version with 1px on each border. This is not really ideal since it's only an automatic resize with The GIMP, but better than the current situation.

Also, the help icon may need to be resized to be bigger, since it has a 2px padding.
