[1] Do check the HPLIP driver version in '/etc/hp/hplip.conf' file
Here it is...
# hplip.conf. Generated from hplip.conf.in by configure.

[hplip]
version=3.18.4

[2] Please confirm if it is same as the plugin version in the
'/var/lib/hp/hplip.state' file.
Here it is...
[plugin]
installed = 1
eula = 1
version = 3.18.4
