I installed python3-pyqt4, python3-pyqt5

Also, my instructions for doing this in Ubuntu should have made clear that
you need to:-
* Be logged into Ubuntu
* Have connected the printer/scanner
* Waited for Ubuntu to do its setup (this will install the printer only)
* Then follow my instructions for setting up scanning
