Hi Ian,

I see two devices when you do "scanimage -L".
See if you have two devices even when you do "hp-setup".
You can remove the below device using "hp-setup -r" and see if scan works.

Also you can try the below commands,

$ cd /usr/lib
$ sudo ln -s libhpmud.so.0 libhpmud.so
