Bug Description

Clicking on Devices-->Kernel Modules result crash of hardinfo application.

I ran the full report generator and hardinfo crashed.

x64 edgy installed on my amd64.

my edgy install is up to date.

I can confirm that hardinfo also crashed for me when clicking on Devices-->Kernel Modules.

Using Edgy RC 386 on an AMD64 pc.

Morten, could you please test the 0.4.1+SVN37 version, autopackaged at [1]? If it does not crash, I'll consider this bug closed (and maintain it open here until 0.4.2 ships). If it crashes, however, please post the crash file.

sorry, but how do I unpack a .package file - I don't know that format? Should I rename it?

Hello Morten,

Just open a terminal, make it executable and run:

$ chmod +x hardinfo(...).package
$ ./hardinfo(...).package

It should download some small dependencies and install normally. Don't worry, you may uninstall everything later.
