I have the same problem with Feisty. Somtimes my encrypted drive mounts correctly, somtimes it needs some retries and sometimes I'm complety unable to get it mounted with gnome-mount. Maybe it is important to say that my hole system is encrypted (excapt /boot)

The claretext device is created everytime (/dev/mapper/luks_crypto_+UUID), but often gome-mount don't recognice that. (The claretext device appeares long before gnome-mount is printing the timeout-warning!)
