Julian, it rather looks like not even the kernel sees a partition on this device. Is it perhaps using the entire device without partitions? It would be helpful if you could plug it in, and do
udevadm info --export-db > /tmp/udev.txt
and attach /tmp/udev.txt here. Thanks!
