There are lovely instructions there for GNOME users. But what if you're using XFCE, Fluxbox or
(in my case) Kubuntu?

Needless to say, I'm having the same device issues as well. If this is not a critical bug it
certainly should be. My computer doesn't do me much good if I can't access my data....
