Further to the above comment, this does not help matters with my install. It
appears that this is affecting many users of removeable media, all the way
through from internal cd-rom drives right up to external floppy usb disks. Many
people are seeing the "Unable to mount the selected volume. Error: given UDI is
not a mountable volume" error, and this is being followed up by a drive icon not
appearing on the desktop. It seems that this behaviour is exhibited for both
upgrade and fresh installs of breezy.
