Didn't help me.

When I plugin a usb-stick or usb-hdd.
ps -A gives me this:
 6253 ? 00:00:00 scsi_eh_1
 6254 ? 00:00:00 usb-storage
 6339 ? 00:00:00 hald-addon-storage

sometimes an icon appears in nautilus, but I can't mount it:
Error: given UDI is not a mountable volume
