and see if that removes your accounts? You could then add back the Twitter account.

Could you also check if python-indicate is installed, as mentioned at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gwibber/+bug/530195/comments/13
and if not, install it?

If you still have the problem of not seeing any Twitter messages, after closing all Gwibber windows, could you run this in a terminal:
killall gwibber-service
gwibber-service -d -o

Try opening the Gwibber window again, and if there are any errors in the debug output (in the terminal) please copy them and paste them here? That might help the Gwibber folks.
