Please could you upgrade to latest version of gwibber (2.29.94) and check if this problem is still affecting you? Thanks in advance!

I had another go at this bug with Gwibber 2.29.94-0ubuntu1 from the Beta2 ISO in Testdrive.
As I did not know how to add the apport report to this but I opened a new one, #559517

Kamus (kamus) wrote :

@Kernel-1, Please could you run under latest version of gwibber: gwibber --debug > gwibber-debug.log and attach output to your report (following those steps to reproduce this issue), Thanks!

Just happened to me with fresh, fully updated install of Beta 2.

When I close gwibber I have this bug in livecd with pendrive

this bug is still present in Ubuntu 10.04 Release Candidate.

gwibber crashes with 100% reproducibility when pressing the "Cancel" button.

Still present in released 10.04 liveCD (64 bit). Started Gwibber from the Applications->Internet menu, and canceled at the first New Keyring Password dialog box. Reproducible seemingly at will.

Most of gwibber crashes were caused by desktopcouch in Lucid. but in Maverick gwibber thankfully does not use desktopcouch. so this bug does not exist in Maverick

Kamus (kamus) wrote :

Since gwibber is not using desktopcouch as backend, I will mark this bug as fixed. Please fill any other problems that you can encounter. Thanks in advance
