What wolfwitch said in his last post. I experience this problem since upgrading Feisty to Hardy.

Short recap:

Error message immediately after mounting:
> Can't display location "smb://172.19.1.20/public/"
> The specified location is not mounted

Works fine though. Bookmarks are made for every single access to the share, yet lost when rebooting.
