Comment 278 for bug 197762

Same problem here: transfer starts well (about 15-20 Mb) but immediately (in less than 20 seconds falls to 7-5 Mb) slows down upt to 1,5 Mb or less. That problem doesn't appear in Windows XP SP3.

System up-to-date
CPU: Intel Pentium E2160
MB: Nvidia MCP73
GPU: GeForce 7300 LE
