Bug Description
Binary package hint: gvfs
I can't access to a floppy disk using Nautilus in my updated Hardy.
The floppy disk drive appears in Places menu, and in the Computer folder. I insert a floppy disk into the drive, and when I double-click on the floppy drive icon, nothing happens.
These are the /dev/fd0 permissions, and the groups which I belong to:
ricardo@kadath:~$ ls -l /dev/fd0
0 brw-rw---- 1 root floppy 2, 0 2008-02-24 23:16 /dev/fd0
ricardo@kadath:~$ id
uid=1000(ricardo) gid=1000(ricardo) grupos=
ricardo@kadath:~$
Updated info:
When I click on Places->Floppy, I get the following message:
Cannot invoke CheckForMedia on HAL: org.freedesktop .DBus.Error. UnknownMethod: Method "CheckForMedia" with signature "" on interface "org.freedeskto p.Hal.Device. Storage. Removable" doesn't exist
